Count & Canvas is built to respect your privacy completely. The short version: we don't collect anything. The app has no account, no sign-up, and no analytics, and it does not send your information anywhere.
None. Count & Canvas does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts and no login.
Your patterns, projects, floss stash, and settings are saved locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or to anyone else.
The "photo to pattern" feature works only on a photo you choose. The image is processed entirely on your device to generate a stitch chart. Photos are never uploaded, shared, or stored by us. If you decline photo access, every other feature still works.
Count & Canvas is designed to work fully offline. It does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs, and it makes no calls to our servers (we don't operate any).
When you choose to export or print a pattern, the file is handed to the standard iOS share sheet or print dialog. What happens next — saving to Files, AirDrop, email, printing — is controlled entirely by you through Apple's system features.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
